The new Garda bike path

Arco – Torbole – Nago Bike Path

Arco and the Banks of the Sarca River The itinerary comes to life in Arco, specifically from the Caneve parking lot. From here, you immediately immerse yourself in nature by following the comfortable cycle path that runs alongside the Sarca River. It is a relaxing and flat stretch that gently accompanies cyclists towards the shores of the lake, surrounded by the green of the valley.

The old Ponale track

This route embodies the contrast between two worlds: it begins in the alpine quiet of the Ledro Valley and descends progressively toward the monumental openness of Lake Garda. The Ponale Path is a journey of history, vertigo, and wonder, where every kilometer reveals a masterpiece of engineering carved into the living rock.

Bike Festival Garda

30/04/27 - 02/05/27

Every spring, Lake Garda becomes the capital of European bike culture. For three days, Riva del Garda transforms into a living expo where industry meets riders, new bikes are tested on real trails, and the community comes together.

The Echoes of the Stadium: Riva del Garda’s Forgotten Giro Finish

While Riva del Garda hosted the Giro multiple times—including a legendary sprint won by Giuseppe Olmo in 1936 and a modern powerhouse finish by Urs Freuler in 1984—it was Stage 19 of the 1954 Giro d'Italia (San Martino di Castrozza to Riva del Garda, 159 km) that captured the true romance of the stadium arrival.

The race was chaotic, dictated by fierce tactical rivalries and changing weather. As the riders descended from the high peaks toward the Mediterranean microclimate of Lake Garda, the speed became electric.

Monte Bondone

This route embodies the contrast between two worlds: it begins in the fertile, inhabited valley floor and climbs progressively into a high-mountain setting where the road becomes steeper, quieter, and more demanding. The Tour del Monte Bondone is a journey of endurance and rhythm, where every kilometer builds toward one of the most iconic climbs in the Trentino area

Arco di Trento

Arco di Trento is a top cycling destination on Lake Garda, offering iconic routes like Passo Tremalzo and Val Concei for road, gravel, and MTB riding

Val Concei

This route embodies the contrast between two worlds. It begins with the fairytale-like, silent idyll of Val Concei

The Tour of Italy in Garda Trentino

Garda Trentino—which includes Riva del Garda, Torbole, and Arco—is a classic and recurring location for the Giro d'Italia. Because it acts as a natural transit point between Lombardy and Trentino, the area is frequently featured on the race route, having hosted both the start and finish lines for various stages over the years.
